Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What can I expect from an art class at Paint the Town Studio?
A. Come to Paint the Town Studio and enjoy a FUN, social group setting at Long Island’s first Art Entertainment Studio. It’s all about having a GOOD TIME while trying something new! We will supply all materials; all you need to do is show up ready to paint! Our instructor will guide you through the night’s featured painting, step-by-step. No artistic experience necessary; even the artistically challenged will be amazed with their unique masterpiece! We recommend arriving to class at least 15 minutes early to check in and be seated. Classes are typically 1 1/2 – 2 hours, depending on the painting, with frequent breaks. You can take your painting home by the end of class!
Q. Do I need to sign up in advance?
A. Advanced online registration and payment is recommended. If you are coming with a group of 3 or more we highly suggest you sign up and book all together under one name, that way you are guaranteed seats together.
Q. What is the cost of a class at Paint the Town Studio?
A. Painting class prices range between $40-$45 depending on the class and painting.
Q. Is there an age limit?
A. All evening sessions are currently open to ages 16 and up. Painters under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an painting adult or guardian at evening sessions. On select Sundays, we offer Family Day sessions that welcome children of ages 8 and up that are accompanied by an painting adult.
Q. What should I wear to Paint the Town Studio?
A. Watch out for a little splatter! We use non-toxic, water-soluble acrylic paint and provide aprons. We recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on.
Q. What time do I need to arrive for a class?
A. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to the start of each painting class to find parking and check in.
Q. Can I sit with a friend or the group I came with?
A. We always try our best to seat friends and parties together or near each other. If you are coming with a group of 3 or more, we highly suggest you sign up all together under one name. If your group signs up individually follow the directions upon booking and fill out the ‘seating’ request field.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. We ask that you give us 48 hours notice for any cancellations to a class open to the public; this time provides us the opportunity to fill the newly vacant spot. Cancellations can be made by phone or email. *We do not offer refunds. Class credit will be given to a customer who cancels with 48 hours notice and is unable to attend. *We do not credit no-shows.* For private parties, cancellations must be received no later than 3 weeks prior to the event date to receive a refund of the deposit.
